Starfish Birthday Card

I made this card for one of my mother-in-laws for her birthday. I used the Picture Perfect Stamp set (140520) and stamped the first layer of the starfish in Flirty Flamingo and then gold embossed the second layer on top. I used the sentiment and the background from the new Mixed Borders Stamp set (available in the new annual catalogue). I also am showcasing two of the new In Colours, Flirty Flamingo and Dapper Denim (also available in the new catalogue, released the 1st June).
I used gold Metallic Thread (138401) and a few sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment (138390), a few dimensionals and some snail and voila!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and checking out my designs.

Clearly we had way too much fun that day! If you are not already a demonstrator and are interested in coming along to Onstage Live in Brisbane this year, please don't hesitate to contact me as I look forward to opening your eyes to whole new world of craft!

Kylie Bertucci's Crazy Crafters Team Projects

We were informed by Kylie that she was going to be highlighting her team, the Crazy Crafters on her blog. We were to create a project using only CURRENT product and blog about it.
Since I have a friend's upcoming baby shower to attend I thought I would blog my card I created for her.. Since she is not finding out the gender of the baby I thought it was safe to use the colours Blushing Bride, Pool Party, Whisper White and So Saffron.
Using the Circles Collection Framelits Dies and my 1" Circle Punch I opted for a little punch art to make the rattle. The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments Stamp Set  and the Banner is from the Number of Years Stamp Set cut-out using the matching Large Numbers Framelits Dies.
Check out what happened when I used the Clear Wink of Stella Pen on the top of the rattle. It created a cloudy hue over it adding just a touch of sparkle.
Here is the complete list of products used.

Global Design Project #021/Colour Challenge

Okay, so I decided to have a go at the Global Design Project Challenge this time around as I had this great idea and I just loved the colours chosen for this Colour Challenge! So thanks to Brian King for choosing them!!!
The colours were:

Here's my project:

I used Bermuda Bay for the base, and then layered the Wisteria Wonder and Melon Mambo Cardstock. Whisper White for the top layer and I added a bit of dimension to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. I used the amazing Sky is the Limit Stamp set from the New Sale-a-Bration Catalogue (This one is only available until the 15th Feb!!!) The little washi tape stamps on the side were from the new Timeless Textures Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalogue and I fussy-cut them out. Lastly, a bit of silver metallic thread, a vintage faceted button and don't forget a splash of Clear Wink of Stella pen for the cloudy love heart and this card was done.

This picture isn't very clear but I was trying to show you the Wink of Stella pen. Check out the products I used below:
