Thank you Box Card

I was asked by my sister to make her a thank you card for the nurses from her uni placement and she wanted it to be sort of "nursy" so this is what I came up with.

Watercolour Wings Workshop

On Saturday 29th August 2015, my sister-in-law and I held our first Stampin' Workshop in which we showcased the co-ordinating Watercolour Wings stamp set and dies. We also showed how the Butterfly Thinlits Dies co-ordinate too with this set.

It turned out to be quite a successful afternoon. We worked out a few things we had missed to ensure we had for next time but all in all I think everyone enjoyed themselves.

It is so daunting holding your first workshop as you're the one promoting and selling the awesomeness of the products but Stampin' Up! make it so easy for you with all their co-ordinating products and if you are stuck for ideas Stampin' Up! have a great mag called 'Impressions' that showcases particular products with projects you can CASE and use to demonstrate at your workshops.

See below a sneak peek of one of our projects for the afternoon's class.

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop August 2015

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Bog Hop for August. This month our theme is Stamp-as-stack using a Stampin' Up! Bundle. We hope you find great inspiration from our projects. Get your bundle wish-list ready!
You may be just starting the blog hop here at my blog - Katie Kaup or may have come from the person previous to me in the list below. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Katie Kaup.
This month I chose the Six-Sided Sampler Bundle, which includes the Six-Sided Sampler Stamp Set, the Hexagon Punch and I also added in the Honeycomb TIEF. I quite like the different layouts and creations you can make using this set. It really is very versatile!

Using Honeycomb TIEF, Six-Sided Sampler Bundle, Delightful Dijon card stock and the Tangerine Tango and Chocolate Chip ink pads.

Using only the Watermelon Wonder ink pad and Memento ink pad in Tuxedo Black, this card is very much keep-it-simple. Also using the Six-Sided Sampler Bundle with the use of post-it notes to create the strip of dots on this one.

Again another keep-it-simple card using Six-Sided Sampler Bundle, Watermelon Wonder and Delightful Dijon ink pads, with Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dijon and Tip Top Taupe cardstock. Add a dash of ribbon and there you have it.
